Anderson Parelli
Pat Parelli or Clinton Anderson? Which do you prefer and why?
I have a new, three year old Peruvian gelding who is in need of some groundwork. I have had people suggest using Parelli, while others, the Clinton Anderson method.
With winter coming, nothing but time on my hands and a very large indoor arena to myself, I figured I would make the most of it! (for both our sakes!!)
Which method would you recommend and why?
Not wanting to offend anyone, but since this is a serious decision that will effect both me and my horse, I would like to hear from people who truly have had experience with either (or both) of these training methods.

Okay, I take back the last part of my question about people having knowledge of either.

I would suggest you learn as much as you can from both of them, as well as any other sources you can expose yourself to. In time you will develop your own style that will be a combination of all that you have been exposed to as well as ideas you will come up with on your own. It’s all about the journey take your time and enjoy it!
Oh and by the way I like them both. I think that overall Clinton might be a little easier to understand but that might just be a personal thing.
