How come gaited horse have there ears back ALWAYS when riding?!?!?

is it because they ride them wrong or something? My Missouri Fox Trotter has her ears back when riding!
not pinned back but it is hard to explain
o i get it it is almost like respectin the rider lol i dont think blu has any back problems

Just because a horse rides with his ears back doesn’t mean the person rides them wrong, it means that hes listen and paying attention to the rider. Just like if he had one forward and one back it ment he’s got his attention on you, but also on somthing else or what ever your doing. If their both forward it means he’s not listen to you at all or that hes seen or found somthing thats interisting or scarey to him. It doesn’t matter what breed the horse is this happens to all breeds of horses and riders.

And with your Missouri Fox Trooter it means she a good horse because she listen to you and has all of her attention on you!
